Ever find yourself turning into school on two wheels and asking yourself, did I pack the kids lunches? When is the last time they had a bath? Where are we supposed to be at 3:45 today?? If yes, then check out the video below, Busy by the Not-It's! I can definitely relate, you? The stress of motherhood daily tasks is no joke! I first heard this song on Kids Place Live when I was driving the kids from a soccer game to a birthday party. Or maybe it was from a soccer game to swimming lesson? hmmm. Well, point is... being a parent, a mother, is busy! Busy, crazy, and fun. Sometimes it feels good to laugh at this craziness, and know that you are not alone.
Some quick tips to de-stress:
*Use a calendar, (and refer to it) daily and weekly.
*Pack lunches, organize snacks, and pick out clothes in advance.
*Set the coffee the night before, and wake earlier (ugh, I know..)
*Set a routine for the morning--oftentimes if you can get out of the house smoothly, it can
set the tone for an easy going day.
Take time for yourself:
*Get a quick workout in.
*Chat with a friend.
*Take a hot shower.
*Walk outside to feel the sunshine on your face, and take a deep breath.
